Crown Lands is currently seeking to appoint a
Natural Resource Management Project Officer to undertake all aspects of land management activities including inspections, environmental reviews, contaminated land, stakeholder engagement, procurement, technical assessments, statutory planning, property management and project management.

In this role, you will provide advice to a range of clients on environmental, planning, natural resource, and land management issues to support the achievement of government priorities in the management of Crown land in the Hunter Area.


Do work that matters in this exciting role, you will be responsible for the management of land and natural Crown assets and delivering exceptional client satisfaction. Your day to day activities will ensure the department achieves the government's priorities whilst delivering on the Principles of Crown Land management and mitigating risks on the Crown estate.

About You


You will be proactive, highly organised and be comfortable and confident in being the first point of contact for key stakeholders.

You will also have strong stakeholder management skills.

Previous experience in natural resource management, environmental planning and assessment, compliance and project management is highly desired for the success of this role.


Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, natural resource, planning or other relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
  • Current drivers' licence and willingness to travel
