ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This presents a unique and thrilling chance for a seasoned Business Improvement Project Manager to become part of our William Adams Cat team. You will play a vital role in fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement through Project Management, specifically focusing on Business Systems Analytics.

You will oversee the successful execution of crucial business projects aligning with our Strategic Plan and varying in size and complexity.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies
  • Creating detailed project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and monitoring progress against milestones
  • Identifying and addressing risks and issues that could affect project delivery, and actively implementing solutions to tackle them
  • Promoting communication and cooperation among project stakeholders, including team members, leadership, and vendors, to guarantee alignment and transparency throughout the project life cycle
  • Monitoring project performance and providing regular updates to senior management, showcasing accomplishments, obstacles, and recommended steps

You possess the ambition and demonstrated capability to lead teams from diverse departments within the organization via project management. You are motivated and a proficient collaborator who actively seeks knowledge to acquire a broader insight into the various fundamental business systems and processes.

You bring the following skills, experience, and qualities:

  • Significant experience in delivering systems projects on schedule and within budget
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Solid comprehension of project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile, or Prince2)
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a positive demeanor
  • Background in the manufacturing, technical, or logistics sector (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification (preferred)
