Our Oceania sales department is responsible for Sales and Business Development for the Regional Organisation in Australia & New Zealand.

The division mainly focuses on Sales and Business Development activities relating to Mobility, IoT / Connectivity and Smart solutions, Cross Selling within Oceania (Australia & New Zealand), supporting local sales for Ford GKAMs and project sample coordination for OEM Engineering programs in Australia (e.g.

Ranger, Everest, etc.) along with supporting EV charging solutions (SaaS) in Oceania.

Job Description:


We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Project Sample Coordinator.

This is a 2-year maximum term, full-time role based at our Head Office in Clayton.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Managing sample coordination and project management activities to meet customer timing and requests.
  • Customer's first point of contact at Bosch for all sample related topics/issues.
  • Customer quotations for samples and others.
  • Establishing profitable samples business.
  • Supporting forecasting and planning activities.
  • Leading Continuous Process Improvement activities for the team.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying customer order requirements and origin of parts for orders and obtaining quotes from global Bosch entities for order fulfilment, offering alternative engineering sample options based on customer requirements when necessary
  • Negotiating sample sell price to achieve target profitability
  • Creating quotes for customers, monitoring, and following up with Bosch Global sample shop network
  • Leading regular communication and escalation topics with customers in respect to quotes and sample deliveries; communicating customer and Bosch escalation issues to senior management
  • Organising delivery of samples (labelling, packaging, arrange for transport), raising sales order and delivery dockets for order dispatch
  • Generating cost and profitability reports to support forecast and business planning.
  • Maintenance of customer ordering systems to ensure accurate customer reporting.
  • Identifying risks to project management and customer sample planning/timing and preparing/recommending appropriate contingency plans.
  • Conflict management of issues that impact project and sample order success

Qualifications:


We are looking for an entry level professional who will work as a sample coordinator for the core vehicle building prototype team.

The position will support respective project managers in handling project specific internal requirements as well as liaise with external stakeholders to manage and execute all sample coordination activities.

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP experience highly regarded
  • Exposure to project team environment (Agile)
