About the Role
Join our team as a
Environmental Services Assistant on a part time ongoing basis, Friday to Tuesday hour shift) to work at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Environmental Cleaning
  • Cleaning of floors surfaces
  • Waste segregation and removal/transport to main loading dock
  • Linen removal and transport to the main linen loading dock for removal
  • Cleaning of amenities
  • Cleaning Pathology

About Us
Our Support Services team provides a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run.

We provide food services, central production kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.

_Mandatory requirements of the role - qualifications, licences, memberships,_

  • Certificate III Cleaning Services _(Desirable)_
  • Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
  • A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer service and cleaning in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
  • Excellent understanding of infection control procedures
  • Basic to intermediate computer/digital skills
