About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH Corpus Christi. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture, and equipment, as well as communal and administrative areas.
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways, and all other areas of the facility are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Replenish cleaning liquids and materials while observing safety procedures.
  • Report stock shortages, breakages, building, equipment, or furnishing defects to the Residential Services Manager.
Requirements
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers.
  • Patience, common sense, and an understanding of client service.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision.
  • Well-developed prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate with discretion and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Commitment to work as part of a team.
