About the role

As the Supervisor (Patching) you will be part of the Works and Field Services team and will be responsible to provide inspections and maintenance in consultation with Coordinator (Maintenance) and Team members, on assets within the responsibility of the Works and Field Services Branch.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise and provide instruction to staff to enable skilled minor construction and maintenance of roads and drainage assets to Council Standards, Australian Standards or Australian Quality Framework performance standards (as is appropriate)
  • Comply with relevant legislation, Council policies and procedures
  • Plan, acquire and utilise all material and resources to ensure assigned tasks and projects are efficiently delivered
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained to manufacturer's specifications and Council standards

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Statements of Attainment for the competencies listed as duties in item 3, or appropriate National Qualification Certificates covering these duties, or evidence of proficiency (equivalent knowledge and experience)
  • General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card
A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (Including Drug and Alcohol testing)

This is a permanent full-time position at grade 16-18 with a salary package commencing at $66,033 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
