You will be a people person, a problem solver and a connector. Of course you will still need to be able to get the job done right, but in this role your focus will be more on the customer service side of things and you can lean on others for the more technical stuff.

You will be handed responsibility for a group of clients from day 1... but don't worry, you won't be thrown in the deep end, we will be there to help you along the way

We're not into working in silos or keeping our client relationships all to ourselves. We want our team to dive in, learn, grow, and evolve right alongside us. We're all about teamwork, and you'll be right there, supporting our business plan and mission.

businessDEPOT Accounting is not like other accounting businesses and you will notice that the moment you walk in the door. In saying that, we are serious about the quality of service we provide to our clients in relation to their tax and accounting needs. Even though we do many things differently, we don't negotiate on delivering work that is on time and accurate.

This role will be a great fit for you if you:
  • Have a solid background in accounting with some leadership experience under your belt
  • Know your stuff, but know when it's time to call in the experts
  • Have a genuine interest in helping clients and team members proactively
  • Love bringing the wow to the customer experience

  • Don't have an issue getting your hands dirty
  • Believe in getting it right and getting it done
  • Are not afraid to have real conversations
  • Can explain complex financial info in a way that makes sense to everyone
  • Are more strategic focused with client's than technically focused
The role will be:
  • A mix of on the tool's work and other responsibilities [depending on how you are wired]
  • Focused on clients who are small to medium businesses, in a range of industries
  • Part of a friendly and supportive team with plenty of opportunities for collaboration
  • Filled with compliance and advisory [the blend is what matters most]
You are someone who:
  • Is analytical, but able to see the bigger picture
  • Is great at building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Loves working with business owners [or those who run the business]
  • Is approachable and trusting
  • Has a nurturing leadership style
  • Is an open communicator
  • Is comfortable with giving and receiving feedback
