Suncorp are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager. You will lead, grow and inspire a high performing team. The successful candidate will provide value to the largest and most influential business customers across target segments (Agribusiness and/or Commercial) in the Roma area by delivering a superior relationship proposition. You will lead your team of high integrity banking professionals and act as a senior presence within the region and community.

What you'll do

  • Maximise the visibility of the Suncorp Group brand throughout the region by actively and positively promoting the company at public events. Network and liaise with key business customers in conjunction with the District Manager and State Manager to optimise and maintain relationships and promote customer retention.
  • Support improvement and monitor the relevant customer service / customer satisfaction outcomes for the portfolio.
  • Assist the Suncorp Group's understanding of and meeting of holistic customer needs as well as lending needs. Collaborate across channels to meet customer needs.
  • Support the success of the region by working collaboratively with other region staff to meet business requirements.
  • Keep our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system up to date in line with CRM protocols.
  • Provide effective feedback to operational, segment and risk areas via the District Manager or State Manager on issues that have an impact on that area of Suncorp's business.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activity within the region.
  • Source and relationship manage quality new to Group business to grow our business banking lending portfolio.
  • Design, implement and monitor an annual portfolio business and/or agribusiness marketing and business plan to achieve desired portfolio growth.
  • Be responsible for the preparation of submissions and provide input into credit proposals.
  • Monitor and analyse portfolio growth, sales, service, credit quality, MFI, ROI and expense results for the portfolio.
  • Build strong and genuine relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to drive a 'one team' approach ensuring support and service delivery,and achieving customer and business needs.
  • Role model and manage direct reports to live the Suncorp Values while adhering to all corporate HR policies.

What you'll bring

  • Tertiary Qualifications in business, commerce or finance is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a high value customer base.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services.
  • Ability to recognise and implement business strategies to drive a highly engaged & skilled team, a strong risk culture, growth and customer acquisition, and outstanding customer experiences.
  • Understanding and application of risk analysis, cash flow analysis, portfolio management, evaluation and analysis of profit projections, property valuation, credit mediation, security requirements and credit checking.
  • Established networks across Southern QLD to provide new to bank opportunities and support business growth
