We are seeking a skilled HR Business Partner to join our team on a parental leave contract.

This is the perfect role for someone looking to advance their HR business parterning skills in a role which will offer enormous breadth and diversity.

Partnering with our Member Delivery Contact Centre team to provide generalist HR support and advice, you will ensure the employee life cycle provides a consistent and values driven experience for our people at Defence Health.

Our Member Delivery team is responsible for providing an excellent service to our members and consists of our Customer Care team (contact centre), workforce planning and member and operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Providing quality coaching and advice to leaders to support them in delivering an exceptional employee experience
  • Managing and planning talent attraction, selection and retention strategies
  • Utilising data to provide valuable insights to business areas, identifying trends and areas of focus for people, safety and wellbeing related initiatives
  • Managing employee and industrial relation cases
  • Driving business performance and engagement through effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration
