Full-Time Temporary Position until December 2025
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join the dynamic team. This is a full-time temporary position with flexible work arrangements and on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and process the end-to-end fortnightly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, employment contracts, certified agreements, awards, and internal policies.
  • Update and maintain data in HRIS (Aurion) and Time and Attendance (RITEQ) systems, identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage end-of-month, end-of-quarter, and end-of-year payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO), Superannuation Guarantee (SG), and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting obligations.
  • Provide high-level communication and customer service, supporting leaders and employees with payroll systems and processes.
  • Resolve payroll-related issues and provide sound advice in accordance with industrial instruments and policies.
  • Contribute to project work, including payroll system upgrades.
  • Develop, implement, and review payroll policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/Time and Attendance Payroll applications (e.g., Aurion, RITEQ).
  • Strong knowledge of ATO and Superannuation requirements, including Single Touch Payroll.
  • Ability to interpret Awards/EBA and manage multiple pay-affecting employment conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • Some out-of-normal-hours work and weekend work may be required.
  • Possible travel inter/intrastate with overnight stays.
  • Position located at the corporate office with potential work at other venues or offices.
