As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our client's finance department, providing vital financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and analysing financial performance to help drive the business forward.

Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors as required.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CA/CPA - open to part qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with Oracle or TM1 is preferred but not essential.
