About the position:
Being part of Retail Operations puts you at the core of our operations - engaging with customers. Reporting to a Customer Operations Leader, you'll be providing end to end customer service, assisting our Residential clients via phone and email across our gas, electricity, and broadband services. Those days of customers feeling lost in a maze of transfers between departments are gone; you'll receive full training in all customer service aspects and be equipped to address any issue.
Significance of this role:
- In Retail Operations, we serve as the forefront and primary touchpoint for all our customers, making it your main duty to go the extra mile to keep our customers satisfied and enthusiastic about Origin Energy being their energy provider.
- Deliver comprehensive customer service across various channels, utilizing our Kraken technology.
- You will be handling a wide array of customer service tasks including onboarding and offboarding; billing and payments; metering inquiries; broadband; relocations; contract renewals; customer retention; managing difficulties; collections; addressing complaints; educating customers on Origin products and tools; and advocacy
What are we looking for?
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to engage with customers across multiple platforms such as email, social media, and other platforms.
- Demonstrated capability to use good business judgment to enhance customer experiences, while considering risks and regulatory frameworks and operating within delegated authority.
- Ability to analyze information and data to comprehend customer inquiries and resolve issues
- Apt at recognizing opportunities for business enhancement and instigating change requests through collaborative functions to refine business processes.
- Fast learner with the capacity to adapt to new tools and technologies.
