We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Desk Officer to join our clients team for an initial 3-month contract and contribute to the to delivering expetional customer support.


Job Overview:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations by providing technical support and assistance to the internal teams.

You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
