About the role


The NSW Field Based Account Manager role has primary accountability for the Indirect Lubricants business success in NSW, underpinned by planning and execution of strategies to deliver Viva Energy's growth aspirations in this area.


As part of the Indirect Lubricants team, the NSW Field Based Account Manager works with other team members to support the growth of Lubricants business in the Agriculture, Industrial and Automotive sectors.


The portfolio of the NSW Field Based Account Manager includes distributors supplying the Agricultural market, Automotive Distributors and Industrial Resellers.

This role will also collaborate with our marketing team on promotional activities and deliver our SME Distributor program.

There is a potential for growth in these sectors and the responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing and strengthening existing customer relationships
  • Seeking out and converting growth opportunities
  • Commercial tender response development
  • Contract negotiation
  • Strategy development for growth
  • Commercial accountability to structure deals
  • Managing customer rebates and marketing support
  • Delivering customer promotional offers and promotional programs
  • Identifying opportunities to meet customer needs (existing and future)


This role will ideally be based in regional NSW, will be expected to travel regularly to meet with clients and involve travel nationally at times.
