Reporting to the Project Team Lead, the
Practical Completions Officer will provide support to the Fixed Networks team and will be responsible for the verification of subcontractor payment claims, review As-Built returned details from Construction Teams, process subcontractor payments and submit client invoicing including request for any outstanding project details to ensure successful Wideband Panel order completion.

What you'll be doing

  • Planning upcoming work order's practical completion dates in conjunction with receipt of completion documentation
  • Understanding subcontractor payment terms and conditions to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Liaising with appropriate project staff and subcontractors to provide the required Completion documentation and to submit invoices
  • Reviewing completion documentation from construction teams to approve for payment
  • Updating of all project tasks within Ventia and Client databases on or before the due date
  • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Communicating with clients and team members on a regular basis on progress and issues

About you

  • Ideally you will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar position, preferably within the Telecommunications / Construction industry and hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • Relevant experience in processing subcontractor claims/payments
  • Ability to interface with subcontractors and clients to ensure delivery compliance Ability to read and understand construction plans (advantageous)
