About the role:

Knauf has an exciting new opportunity for a
Plasterer to join the Knauf Linings team based in
Pinkenba, QLD.

Reporting to the contracting area manager you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional plastering solutions for a wide range of commercial and residential projects across QLD.
Role responsibilities:

  • Determining plasterboard layout
  • Measuring, marking, cutting, lifting and positioning plasterboard and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens
  • Preparing corner beads and securing them in position
  • Fixing plaster and paper cornices, panel moldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings
  • Covering joints and screw fittings with wet plaster and sealing compounds and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper
  • Plumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall ceiling surfaces
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of plastering skills (5 years experience preferred)
  • Commercial and residential building experience
  • Experience with plastering and framing
  • Experience with suspended ceilings, patching, sanding hanging sheets, stopping up, working with metal and timber frames
  • Hard working can do attitude
  • Understanding of HSE requirements
