Building Systems Testing Officer

Knauf, a leading manufacturer of insulation materials and construction equipment, is seeking an experienced Building Systems Testing Officer to join their Engineering team in Pinkenba, Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Construct and test building systems and products in a safe and controlled environment
- Support the implementation of the PSD Lab Safety Plan and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
- Instrument and test specimens to evaluate their performance and report results in a clear and concise manner
- Order and manage materials for testing and laboratory work, and source equipment and supplies as needed
- Achieve NATA signatory and manage NATA registration, including maintenance of calibration and test records
- Conduct internal and external customer technical training for new products and systems introduced into the market
- Relevant hands-on experience (3+ years) in a similar role, preferably in the carpentry/plastering industry or product/systems testing industry
- Relevant qualification related to the building, engineering, or plastering industries, such as a trade diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as Microsoft Office and numerical skills
- Strong experience and knowledge of building construction practices and testing methodologies
- Forklift License (highly regarded but not essential)
