We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advertising Executive to join our Advertising and Sales team.

You will be responsible for developing custom publications and features whilst also implementing strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue in this area.

In this role, your main focus will be project managing and selling a variety of advertising features within The West Australian and Sunday Times newspapers.


As an Advertising Executive, you will focus on identifying content opportunities and commercialising market trends in a variety of sectors, building internal relationships whilst facilitating advertising revenue within our products.


To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in advertising, sales, or marketing, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

You will be someone who is passionate about print media and has a proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business deals.

Stakeholder management and internal sales is a key attribute.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Project managing a portfolio of advertising features and achieving revenue goals
  • Developing new opportunities to grow revenue
  • Monitoring market conditions and creating bespoke advertising opportunities for a variety of key clients within the business along with new business
  • Creating high quality advertising strategies and sales proposals alongside internal stakeholders for our products
  • Managing internal stakeholders
  • Identifying, assessing and managing business and revenue risks as they arise

You're someone with:

  • Previous business development and print experience
  • Great internal and external communication skills
  • The ability to drive new business and achieve targets
  • The drive to be a team player
  • The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with effective time management skills
  • A selfstarter attitude with a strong desire to chase targets
  • Great organisation skills and attention to detail
