We are looking for a site-based Environment Advisor for Iron Ore Operation at the Brockman 2 / Nammuldi operations. In this role you will partner with our operations and stakeholders to champion environmental performance.

Reporting to the Environment Lead you will be:

  • Partnering with the asset "front of house"
  • Implementing and verifying the business' environmental management system
  • Monitoring environmental performance indicators, for example: fauna/flora, surface water quality, groundwater quality, clearing/rehabilitation activities and hydrocarbon/contamination management
  • Partnering with operational teams and internal stakeholders to support environmental risk management
  • Project managing contractors and consultants providing environmental services
  • Preparing and submitting compliance reports in association with our licence to operate
  • Participate in Traditional Owner engagement
  • Support delivery of assetlevel environment performance improvement initiatives

What you'll bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in an Environmental or related discipline with knowledge of key concepts theories and practices related to risk management, State and Federal Legislation and environmental management systems
  • Demonstrated experience in executing work with a strong attitude towards safety and improvement
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills with the ability to work independently
  • Resilience and a dynamic approach to problem solving
