Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement health, safety and environment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety and environment procedures and protocols
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a health, safety and environment role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Cert IV in Health, Safety and Environment and/or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including FIFO rotations
