Business Banking is proud & excited to support a range of small, medium and large sized businesses across Australia. Our Commercial Banking team located at Box Hill in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs, with a focus on businesses that turnover between $15m - $30m or $3m - $10m in commercial lending. Our innovative technology solutions provide invaluable support for our clients and we take pride in understanding who they are and delivering insights and tailoring creative solutions to help them lead their businesses into the future. Our team is energised about what we do, what we've achieved and the momentum behind where we're headed.

Due to internal progression a fantastic Team Manager opportunity has become available in our team.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead by example, delivering best-in-class service that meets compliance
  • Build strong relationships & ensure teams meet business and client needs
  • Foster a customer-centric culture with responsive, professional service
  • Empower frontline staff for exceptional services for our customers
  • Identify risks, share best practices and drive continuous improvement
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, excellence and skill development

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Team Manager with demonstrable ability to engage, lead and guide a team. You will support your team to help them achieve their goals and drive a culture of accountability in the team. In order to be successful you will have;

  • Whilst experience at a leadership level is highly regarded, consideration will also be given to applicants where leadership is in their career development plan and they can demonstrate a track record of high performance as a senior member of the team;
  • Strong financial services industry experience, including experience within a sales and/or risk role;
  • Extensive knowledge of bank and financial services products and services and strong commercial acumen and risk knowledge;
  • Proven ability to build strong and effective relationships and to work collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders;
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a creative approach to problem solving;
  • Strong customer focus and a real passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
