The Opportunity
Following a series of project wins we have a strong pipeline of work nationally. We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced hydraulic modelers to join our growing team in Adelaide.


Reporting to the Discipline Manager, you will work under general supervision of senior modelers and will be responsible for completing detailed modeling of building and infrastructure hydraulic services, including potable water, wastewater, sewer, natural gas, hot water generation and storm water.


You will have significant experience in design modelling on a diverse range of Engineering and Construction projects and a demonstrated level of technical understanding of hydraulic services discipline to assist in the efficient development of concept planning for projects.


In this role you will:

  • Be involved in modelling of buildings and infrastructure projects using the Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software packages
  • Work within project or engineering disciplinebased teams, to contribute, complete and implement designs as required
  • Manage and deliver allocated project work scope generally in the hydraulic discipline
  • Complete work within negotiated standards of time, cost, and quality
  • Work within Australian Standards, Regulations, KBR engineering and management procedures, or client procedures if applicable, and established industry practices
  • Interface with clients, and understand internal and external client needs
  • Routinely identify and resolve problems relating to the services
  • Achieve good level of client satisfaction and encourage follow on work
  • Seek advice on matters outside of your experience or judgement

As the ideal applicant you will have:

  • Experience using Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks software packages for hydraulic projects
  • Experience in pluming design / model and have a good understanding of the plumbing code
  • A Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (Operations or Hydraulic Services Design)
  • A Diploma of Hydraulic Services Design, will be an advantage
  • The ability to work independently and within a team to deliver project documentation requirements within a multidisciplinary project according to budget, schedule, and quality requirement
  • A Practical knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety and comply with safety, environmental, quality controls and relevant review and approval processes
