Job Title: Civil Water Engineer/Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Water Engineer/Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our Water team, you will be responsible for delivering major water infrastructure projects across South Australia.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a design-focused Civil Engineer with experience in water pipelines, pump stations, hydraulics, treatment plants, and water or wastewater. You will be working on behalf of the community to improve safety, reliability, cost, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plants.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of talented engineers and professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of junior engineers and provide technical oversight and guidance.
  • Participate in strategic planning and investigation to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Accredited Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.
  • Design experience with knowledge of industry standards.
  • Proven ability to work in engineering and design modeling teams, manage projects to scope, budget, and program.
  • Previous experience gained within an engineering consultancy environment.
  • Eligibility to apply for Chartered Engineer (CPEng) accreditation.
