Your new role:

Join the Dept. Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic Service of The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) in a new part-time fixed term role as a Endocrine Clinical Nurse Consultant Work alongside acute and ambulatory teams to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of complex endocrine disorders Coordinate a range of specialised hormone blood tests for patients with less common endocrine disorders including pituitary, adrenal and thyroid disorders Assist with coordinating and growing the Endocrine Service for day admissions for endocrine dynamic investigations In return, you will be supported with ongoing training and opportunities for career development

About you:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate nurse to assist our Diabetes and Endocrinology team to further develop a service to coordinate and perform Endocrine Dynamic Investigations to diagnose and treat Endocrine Disorders Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and Current Division 1 Nurse Registration Knowledge and experience in public hospital ambulatory care processes Knowledge and experience in clinical auditing Experience in working with teams (including multidisciplinary teams) Excellent communications skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and primary care Experience in conducting clinical audits Clinical experience in Diabetes and Endocrinology practice Experience working in telehealth
