About the Role

The Royal Women's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in promoting evidence-based practices and supporting the implementation of the Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IPC education and support other IPC team members
  • Provide recommendations relating to IPC patient management, liaising with the Infectious Diseases (ID) team
  • Contribute to IPC auditing activities, education, and document development
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong background in Infection Prevention and Control, with a Post Graduate certificate or higher in IPC or equivalent in Public Health. You will also have credentials as a hand hygiene auditor and current qualifications and accreditation in Victoria as a Nurse Immuniser.
