About the facility
The Central Resource Unit (CRU) provides staffing support and solutions for all Barwon Health impatient services. In addition to inpatient services the CRU also provides staff to some in reach and outpatient services.

About the role
As a Central Resource Allocator/Forward Planner you will be liaising with wards/units re staffing requirements. You will deal with all incoming telephone calls and allocate requests for additional staffing to all Barwon Health locations. Any previous clinical experience would be an advantage in undertaking this role however not essential.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • The provision of clerical, reception and staff allocation services in a confidential and accurate manner in accordance with Barwon Health policies and procedures
  • Strict adherence to staffing strategies
  • Participate in the validation of CRU time sheets following strict guidelines
