- Setting up activities and food for the children.
- Collecting children from their classroom.
- Engaging with children and providing a range of authentic experiences.
- Communicating with parents and families.
- Communicating with 2IC and Coordinator.
- Ensuring the workplace is clean and hygienic at all times.
- Identifying and responding to hazards.
- Understanding mandatory reporting requirements and responding to this.
- Engaging with staff and contributing to the team.
- Using effective behaviour management strategies to ensure children are cared for and supported.
Desired:
- Paid blue card
- First aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Child protection training (or willing to obtain)
- Experience working with primary aged children.
