Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the success of the school by upholding professional standards and participating in ongoing learning and accreditation.
- Utilize a variety of teaching and learning techniques to meet individual needs and promote excellence.
- Identify learner needs and confer with specialist staff when necessary.
- Present and explain assessment criteria to students in advance and provide timely and useful feedback.
- Maintain accurate records and fulfill all requirements relating to assessments and their documentation.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to optimize each student's development.
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registrations.
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
- A positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Extensive training in our high-quality professional learning program, Catalyst.
- Access to curriculum resources that support evidence-based, high-impact teaching practice.
- 24 weeks of paid parental leave (maternity/adoption).
- Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave (paternity/non-initial primary carer leave).
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.
- Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.
