About the role

As the Procurement & Compliance Coordinator, reporting to the Commercial Manager, you are responsible for supporting the planning and development of a wide range of procurement services to meet LHG's objectives, financial goals, and operational requirements.

Key Duties

  • Oversee the preparation of tenders, proposals and the negotiation of vendor/supplier contracts in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Manage contractor compliance and performance develop, implement and report on contract/contractor guidelines, obligations and KPIs that ensure contractor compliance and successful outcomes for LHG
  • Manage the LHG vehicle fleet
  • Manage the procurement function for LHG and develop efficient and effective systems, policies and processes
  • Establish programs for vendor/supplier analysis and cost reduction
  • Conduct technical, business and process analysis
About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, businessrelated studies or equivalent
  • Experienced in negotiating, coordinating and delivering major contracts
  • Extensive experience in establishing strong supplier relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of procurement concepts, processes and activities
  • Sound knowledge of contract management methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience in materials provisioning and an understanding of business and legal issues
  • Willing to challenge the status quo, to innovate and look for smarter ways of doing things
