About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised individual who enjoys working with a variety of people across a range of cultures and markets, to join our Procurement Team in the role of a Logistics Coordinator.


Based in our Adelaide Office on Greenhill Road with regular travelling to Booleroo Centre, this role offers an opportunity to take your career in Global Supply Chain to the next level.

You will work closely with the Global Procurement Manager, the Sales Manager, the Operations Team and several other employees and managers within our highly skilled team.


You will receive on-the-job training that will see you develop and expand on your existing skills and experience from your previous work in a similar role.

In addition, this role provides the opportunity to be involved in the ever-changing growth and ongoing development of our internal systems as a result of Kelly's commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing stock movements for the company ensuring all deliveries are fulfilled as per contract specifications and costings and in full on time
  • Establish and grow strong relationships with a wide range of clients and transport operators
  • Prepare accurate documentation and reporting, including purchase contracts, delivery documents, position reports, invoicing, landed cost and monthly KPI reports
  • Identify opportunities to improve our current logistics processes and procedures
  • Ensuring the best price for value is achieved
  • Consignment generation and shipping document preparation
  • Daily and timecritical management of shipment exceptions and customs clearance issues
  • Internal reporting on lead times and carrier performance
  • Backfill for other Supply Chain Administration Roles as required
  • Assist other departments with pricing and questions regarding transport
  • Ensure the operation is in compliance with the company's standard procedure and policies
  • Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses
  • Regular travel to our assembly facility at Booleroo required
  • Participating in and maintaining the

9001 Quality Management System

  • Undertaking spot checks and audits, and remedying any issues or concerns identified
  • Supporting the enforcement of Work, Health & Safety principles
  • Assist in building the culture of CQI throughout the Organisation
  • Using forms and checklists to ensure compliance.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts and principles

Requirements:

The Logistics Coordinator will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills, attributes, and qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum of three years experience in a logistics position, ideally within the manufacturing sector
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility within the transport industry
  • High level of customer service skills and ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Qualifications in logistics or related disciplines essential
