The Role and The Team

In this position, you will be an essential member of the Culture and Diversity team, contributing significantly to shaping the future of the organization by supporting the growth and development of its leaders during a 12-month maternity leave cover.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the design and implementation of customized learning solutions.
  • Contributing to the development of specialized learning programs tailored to team requirements.
  • Creating comprehensive learning materials and resources.
  • Delivering engaging learning experiences through various channels, including virtual courses, workshops, and simulations.
  • Assessing staff competencies and monitoring ongoing leadership development activities.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of leadership learning initiatives.

You will achieve these objectives by establishing strong internal relationships and aligning your efforts with organizational goals, collaborating with internal experts and external partners to develop impactful leadership programs that adhere to industry standards.


Leadership Development Senior Specialist

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a seasoned Learning and Development professional with experience in a similar role within a government agency, department, or commercial entity.

An ideal candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Learning and Development, Organizational Management, or a related field.



Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills, focusing on aligning operational outcomes with overall objectives.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and offer recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving results through cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
