About the Job
Of course, intelligence is very important in this job but we are also looking for those who have
strong interpersonal and communication skills to conduct effective, engaging and
inspiring one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions (capped at 6 students).
Most importantly, we are looking for tutors that
truly care about their students and are
dedicated to helping them improve their confidence and work towards their academic goals.
We generally look for tutors that:
- have achieved an
ATAR (or equivalent) of 95+, OR
studying/have recently completed a degree in Education
Hours
You will have the convenience and independence of working in your own private room at our centres which are open Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm and Saturdays/Sundays 9am-5pm.
Your students will be coming to you,
removing the wasteful hours of travel time which are unavoidable as a freelance tutor and allows you to tutor more students in less time.
We will also handle all scheduling issues, allowing you to focus purely on delivering high quality lessons when at the centre.
We understand the demands of uni schedules so our tutors are free to choose the days they would like to work and we only require a
minimum commitment of 4 hours per week.
Most of our tutors work around 8-12 hours a week, but this is entirely up to you.
