Your Role with Us:


As our Quality Control Officer, you'll be the driving force behind developing and maintaining quality standards and procedures for our platform's content, functionality and features.

You'll keep a close eye on processes to catch any deviations from these standards, making improvements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

You'll also document quality control processes, conduct detailed harmful content investigations, create reports for management review, and identify and mitigate risks.

Additionally, you'll ensure we comply with relevant laws and regulations, handle privacy mailbox queries, complaints, and requests, and analyze data to enhance decision-making and user safety.

What you will do:

Developing Quality Standards: Establishing and maintaining quality standards and procedures for content, features and user interactions on the platform. Maintain a control list and undertake quality assurance.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously monitoring and evaluating the quality of content, features and user interactions to ensure they meet established standards.

Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance the quality and efficiency of content moderation and other quality control processes.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining documentation of quality control processes and preparing reports on quality performance and compliance for management review.

Risk management: Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Compliance operations: Ensure the platform complies with relevant laws and regulations related to user safety, data protection, and content moderation.

Compliance management: Management of Privacy mailbox queries, complaints and requests to meet compliance requirements related to handling of personal data.

Data Analysis:Analysis of data related to user behaviour, content moderation and safety incidents to identify trends and inform decision making.

Investigation: Undertake investigations of issues and incidents to determine root causes and develop remedies.

What you will bring:

  • Experience: 1+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to interpret data related to quality control and identify areas for improvement.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to quality control, including industry specific regulations
  • Undergraduate degree in Media, Communications, Arts or Science
  • Interest or experience in live streaming and social media
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, & Intercom
