    Position Description:

Your purpose:

Our Tullamarine operation are looking to bring on an experienced Quality Control Coordinator.

This role will ensure that robust food safety systems, quality systems, and business processes are in place to enable the successful achievement of quality and compliance deliverables.


Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison and conduit between all departments within the organization, facilitating effective communication and collaboration on food safety and qualityrelated matters.
  • Maintain established, robust food safety systems, quality systems, and business processes to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Implement and continuously improve Fonterra's food safety and quality programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential areas of improvement and address any nonconformities
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on food safety and quality topics
  • Investigate and address any food safety and quality incidents or issues that arise, taking prompt corrective actions and implementing preventive measures

About you:

We are looking for individuals that have prior quality experience within a food manufacturing environment. This role would suit a strong and effective communicator with excellent organisation and planning skills.

You must also demonstrate:

  • Good understanding of food safety principles, and quality control methods and processes
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Detailoriented mindset with exceptional problemsolving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Intermediate IT/Computer skills with prior SAP experience desirable
