The role and what we are looking for
Reporting to the National Manager - Collision, the Area Manager Collision plays a key role in executing Capricorn's collision strategy.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing business with existing collision Members and assigned Suppliers with a focus on maintaining existing and establishing new business within a designated region or state to achieve membership and sales growth for the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow patronage with existing members.
- Promote the organisation's products, services and events to all collision members and prospective members.
- Maintain ongoing contact with assigned related suppliers to build and develop relationships.
- Building a prospect database to identify and attract new collision members.
- Through ongoing education within the role, assist in the training and development of Internal staff
- Execute tactical activities that deliver on the overall business plan.
- Build and develop Capricorns presence within the Collision industry.
- Strong industry relationships
- Sound knowledge of the collision repair sector; an advantage but not crucial
- Strong sales skills, with business awareness and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to converse at all levels within and outside the organisation.
- Ability to travel intra and interstate as required.
