Your key responsibilities will include:

* Leading a team of Fitout engineers
* Reporting and scheduling
* Interpreting, planning, coordinating, and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation
* Active management and liaison with site-based personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards, and implications for project accountabilities
* Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan, and Environmental Management Plan
* Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project
* Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs
* Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning, and legislative requirements
* Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions
* Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports
* Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant discipline
* Extensive background in Building & Fitout with a minimum 10 years' industry experience
* Supervisory skills
* Proven experience with a top-tier or mid-tier building contractor
* Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and expectations
