My client is a vertically integrated manufacturer, designer and distributor of products for two markets; Medical and Electrical distribution products.

They have been operating for more than 60 years and are one of the market leaders in their field.

Position Title: Internal Sales

Main Activities:

  • Creating, issuing and following up quotes
  • Be a point of contact for the team and our customer base on product information
  • Assist our Tier 1, 2 & 3 Electrical Contractors, Electrical wholesalers, Consultants and Architects with queries
  • Provide updates on order status
  • Load new customer purchase orders and RFC requests
  • Assist support team in Australia and New Zealand with Operational tasks as requested
  • Assist and support external sales executives and managers

Key Skills / requirements

  • Internal Sales / customer service experience in the electrical, mechanical, healthcare, and/or construction industries
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent phone manner
- customer service focused, self-motivated
- proven track record in similar role
- proven ability to work autonomously
- strong communication skills both verbal & written to enable you to deal with people from all levels of business

  • MS office computer skills & ability to learn to use internal systems effectively
  • Very good technical knowledge
  • Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous, but not mandatory
