At Finkey Capital, we are an Australian-first green lender.

We are instituting our start-up functions, developing our sales, and marketing strategy.

We aim to 'go to market' through two distinct distribution channels that integrate to form the basis of our Credit Policy.

You will be instrumental in helping develop the framework.

We seek a committed, deadline-driven sales and research intern to join our founding team.

You will complete basic research and clerical tasks assigned by the Director of Operations or CFO, which may include conducting market research, identifying and helping to formulate distribution strategies, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Director wherever possible.

You should be able to take instruction, work unsupervised, and identify and articulate commercial ideas with mínimal guidance.


To be successful as our sales intern, you should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and identify opportunities that others have overlooked.

To be outstanding, you are an inherent problem solver who can identify opportunities, formulate strategies and set foundations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Director and completing all allocated tasks.
  • Conducting desktop research, gathering information or speaking to prospective clients.
  • Attending and participating in meetings and workshops, including conducting your own.
  • Liaising with prospective target market clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company.
  • Working on internal sales frameworks.
  • Observing and learning from your corporate mentors.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.

Sales Intern Requirements:

  • A current university or TAFE student.
  • Undertaking a commerce degree or diploma.
  • Strong selfmotivation.
  • Ability to work alone and under guidance.
  • Ability to cope with constructive criticism.
  • Superhearing and seeing ability.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • A professional appearance.

Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary:
From $20.52 per hour
