Position Details

Position Title: Senior Family Services Worker

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnight

Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise agreement

Role description

The Senior Family Services Worker will lead a team of Family Service Workers to provide a primarily outreach/in-home response to families within the Mount Alexander Shire who self-refer or are referred by ­ The Orange Door or other agencies. The Senior Family Services Worker will work with a range of agencies to facilitate and support referrals to the program.

About you

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work, Welfare, Child & Family Welfare or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in family work, case management and cross-sectoral collaboration
  • A commitment to working from a Social Model of Health with an Integrated Team approach
  • ­NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A "Working with Children" check
  • A Current Drivers Licence Type E
