Western Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Grade 3 Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC), a maximum-security women's prison.
The Grade 3 Social Worker willl be responsible for providing advanced clinical skills for the assessment, management and support of patients.
The Social Worker will have a broad range of clinical experience and knowledge in relevant specialty areas and adopt an evidence-based, trauma informed approach to practice.
On 1 July, 2023 the delivery of primary healthcare will transition from the current service provider to Western Health. The multidisciplinary team will provide holistic and interconnected service provision to patients at DPFC.Successful applicants will be on boarded during the transition period for orientation and training including additional training to support the delivery of culturally appropriate, trauma informed, gender affirming care for all patients including priority cohorts.
