Overview
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager / Subject Matter Expert to lead and contribute to software development activities for implementing innovative Automated Intelligence capabilities for operational use. The main focus is on building automated intelligence capability, along with the infrastructure needed for seamless integration and transition to operational settings. This project involves working closely with Researchers, involves project management tasks, engaging stakeholders to pinpoint user requirements, prioritizing development tasks, and conducting review sessions.
Responsibilities:

  • Common Services (CS) and Platforms (PLT): Continuously develop and maintain secure cloud-native platforms to host 'production quality' development tools and research workloads across various secure environments.
  • Collaborate with an integrated team to translate strategic goals into actionable requirements, manage day-to-day operations within delivery teams as a "Product Owner," ensure alignment with strategic objectives, tackle blockers, resolve conflicting priorities, and adapt to changes.

Required:

  • A formal degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with program management methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:
Prior experience in Defence or AIC is a plus.
Location and Contract Term
This position is based in Adelaide, SA with potential hybrid work options, starting in July for 12 months.
Security Requirements
To be considered, you must be an Australian Citizen with a current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) clearance at a minimum (TSPV clearance preferred).
