This is a rare opportunity to align yourself with an innovative organisation that is looking to do things differently in Aged Care.


The Role

Reporting to the Director of Aged Care Services you will also be required to ensure close consultation and collaboration with the Facility Managers to ensure service delivery improvements are identified and actioned.


On a day to day basis you will be responsible for overseeing operations, strategic direction and performance of the three facilities as allocated.


Your leadership experience and knowledge will see you working closely with the Facility Managers in order to meet key operational objectives for each facility, including the maintenance of Accreditation Standards and compliance, facility budgets, staff and roster management, ensuring the effective implementation and adherence to clinical, quality and education frameworks, continuous improvement and the delivery of a high quality customer service to existing and potential residents.


You will be required to ramp up the occupancy of the homes and ensure that the residential services division responds appropriately to the changing needs of our clients and the opportunities that present through the shifting funding and regulatory environment both at State and Federal Government level.


You will have.

  • Experience in a similar management role with demonstrated knowledge of contemporary quality, and education practices and frameworks
  • An understanding of the Aged Care regulatory framework
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of quality principles and accreditation
  • Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to act as a positive role model
  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • High level interpersonal, written, presentation and negotiation skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders
  • Welldeveloped communication when problem solving and managing conflict
  • Strong attention to detail
