About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead our team of venue managers and their teams in the delivery of exceptional services and programs to our local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational performance of our facilities, including 8 seasonal outdoor pools, through the development and execution of plans with the leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local council partners, community groups, and other stakeholders to drive success through engagement and development of our people.
  • Oversee operations at multiple facilities, including Strathbogie Shire Facilities and Mansfield Shire Facilities.
  • Ensure the provision of consistent quality services and programs to each local community.
  • Develop and execute plans to drive business growth, community activation, and aquatic facility management.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing or leading in a similar leisure or aquatic facility.
  • Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial, and people plans to successful outcomes.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2).
  • National Police Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Legal working rights in Australia.
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded.
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to successfully complete the course).
