About the role:


Merri-bek City Council has a fantastic new opportunity within the Aged and Community Support Branch for a Quality, Compliance and Service Planner who enjoys driving continuous improvement and innovation to facilitate the delivery of high-quality community support services.


Key aspect of this role include; Quality Control with a focus on the Aged Services Standards, Continuous Improvement/Project Management and Service Planning & Reviews.

This will ideally suit a team player with an understanding of the Community Based Aged Services and a desire to drive change to add real community value.


Skills and experience require to perform the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications with relevant experience, such as in Allied Health, or Community/Aged Services and relevant experience in change management, quality systems and service development
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and ensuring meeting compliance and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and leading service improvement processes / initiatives and cultural change.
  • Ability to lead, influence and gain cooperation of internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce high quality documents
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
