We are seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to work part-time across our 30-bed Orthopaedic, Neurosurgical, and Plastics Ward on a rotational roster.

  • Facilitate a learning culture for continuous enhancement.

  • Provide clinical direction for efficient nursing care delivery.
  • Manage human, financial, and material resources effectively.
  • Drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Directly provide patient care when necessary.
Selection Criteria:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children check
  • 3+ years experience in orthopaedics, neurology, or surgery
  • Ability to work rotational night shifts
  • Previous experience as ANUM, shift manager, or clinical nurse specialist (desirable)
  • Postgraduate Degree in relevant specialty
  • Sound clinical knowledge
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive role modeling
  • Customer service focus and time management
  • Adaptability to changing environments
  • High computer literacy including MS Office
