About the Team:

DoorDash is looking for an Operations Associate to support our DoorDash Air operations team in the suburbs of Brisbane.

DoorDash Air is a new convenience and grocery store from DoorDash, focused on delivering household essentials, favorite snacks, and light groceries right to our customers' doorsteps on-demand via drone.


This location specifically will be a pilot site for new autonomous solutions and technologies DoorDash is exploring for order fulfillment.

This role will report to and work closely with both Wing and the DoorDash Lab's team.

About the Role:


In this role, you will support the day to day operations of a small distribution center and be responsible for ensuring we maintain high quality for our customers.
You will support our San Francisco based team with in-app testing and act as on the ground support for new site bring-up.


You're excited about this opportunity because you will:


  • Prepare Orders. Pick, pack, and load orders as they arrive.

Partner: This site will be a pilot site for drone delivery at DoorDash. You'll be a key player in testing out new app features and troubleshooting operational issues with our San Francisco based team as they arise.

Manage Inventory: Unload inventory from trucks and onto warehouse shelves. Manage inventory, out of stock, item selection, and reordering. Structure and maintain our DoorDash Air menu.

Own: You will be an owner in the day-to-day operations of one of our DashMart warehouses, ensuring the site processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for providing regular feedback to our Lab's team in San Francisco.

Organize: Clean and maintain the warehouse space.

Train: Train and provide guidance to our pick/pack/load team.
