Beam is Asia Pacific's largest shared micromobility company, on a mission to turn little drives into better rides and make cities flow better for everyone.

Shared micromobility is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, and we're leading the way in Asia Pacific with operations in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand and Malaysia.

Following our recent US $93M Series B round, we will be expanding our operations to Turkey, Japan and Indonesia.

Within Australia & New Zealand, Beam has shared e-scooter and e-bike operations in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Port Douglas, Magnetic Island, Perth, Bunbury, Esperance, Hobart, Launceston, Auckland, Wellington, Whangarei and Palmerston North.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive forward Beam's operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management
  • Set strategic direction for how to grow Beam's operations in a healthy manner
  • Identify key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
  • Innovate constantly on existing processes and products
  • Manage a team of Operations Specialists + Fleet Technicians who support the operations
  • Develop and coach your team
  • Collaborate cross functionally (strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations

Requirements:

  • Experience in transport / logistics is not necessary, but willingness to learn and get into the weeds of the business is critical
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years experience in management consulting, finance, or fast growing startup
  • Experience with people management
  • Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience
  • Highly analytical and creative problem solver, product driven mindset
  • Self starter you'll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business and this is a great position to fast track your startup career
  • Strong Excel skills / SQL knowledge a bonus
