Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our Perth based team on a full time basis. This is a 9-month parental leave cover.

This person will be responsible for the oversight of financial matters relating to the final stages of the completion of our One the Esplanade development, and for the ongoing financial requirements for other WA pipeline developments including the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre.


Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you'll be joining a national team of enthusiastic and driven individuals who strive for continuous improvement.

This position will suit a proactive, composed, and resilient Finance Manager who wants to build on their previous experience within a collaborative and supportive organisation.

You will hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA/ CA), minimum 3 years' post qualification, and have people management experience.

What will you be responsible for?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: management and coordination of final payments (related parties, co-owners, debt) and contractual guarantees in relation to One The Esplanade, assisting the development staff with coding costs appropriately, owning the financial information in the GL including accruals and prepayments at month/quarter end and monthly job cost and Estate Master reconciliations, as well as ensuring cash requirements are accurately forecasted and communicated

What experience and qualifications will you possess?

  • A minimum of 3 years' postCA/CPA qualification experience
  • Staff management experience essential
  • Propertyrelated experience highly desirable (particularly property developmentrelated experience)
  • MRI/HFM/Estate Master experience preferred but not essential
  • SOX control exposure highly desirable
  • Experience in commercial contract reading essential
  • Degree qualified in finance or a related disciplineWhat skills and qualities do you have?
