The Opportunity: We're searching for a proficient and passionate Care Manager to join our St Johns facility in Wangaratta, Victoria on a full-time basis. As a valued member of our dynamic clinical team, you'll play a crucial role in providing safe, skilled, and up-to-date clinical care to our residents. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in overseeing and backing up registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and personal carers, ensuring a resident-centric approach and top-notch customer service.

The Care Manager is tasked with planning, distributing, and assigning tasks to deliver care as per established policies and procedures. They will also aid in effective management of human, material, and financial resources in line with budgetary constraints.

The Care Manager will leverage their advanced clinical expertise as a seasoned Registered Nurse to uphold exemplary clinical standards, all while exhibiting strong leadership in a resident-focused care setting. They actively contribute to fostering an innovative and collaborative workplace culture to empower our residents to "live life on their terms".

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Strong clinical knowledge and modern practices.
  • Leadership background.
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Nursing qualification.
  • A professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, especially with the elderly.
  • Outstanding issue-resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational prowess, with precision and keen attention.
  • Prior experience in aged care settings is advantageous.

To be considered for employment at Respect, all candidates must meet the legal prerequisites of Aged Care Worker Screening to verify suitability for working in the aged care sector.
