Our target project opportunities include solar, BESS, and wind projects as well as hybrid fossil fuel generation projects and hydrogen and ammonia projects.

The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to work on our exciting pipeline of renewable energy projects.

About the role As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation of the tender and proposal submissions for allocated projects and managing the process between opportunity pursuit and contract award.


Location:

Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth Your duties and responsibilities will include: Manage and coordinate winning strategy development for bids and offers.

Develop and coordinate a Bid Team to ensure the tender and proposal is submitted on time.

Review tender documentation ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitment Conduct risk assessment and management activities to evaluate all risks associated with the tender Provide regular reports and recommendations on the progress of the tender and proposal Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the customer and all stakeholders to ensure the tender and submission are accurate and viable Business, Commerce, and Engineering experience is advantageous.

Client management skills and experience.

Your skills and experience:

Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Project Management or similar)Significant experience in bidding and business development Extensive experience in tendering and coordinating several concurrent tenders, ideally from Renewables (BESS/Solar/Wind) and/or Utilities industries.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
